We'll be happy to make arrangements for our guests; courtesy airport shuttle service is also available to our guests. For those traveling by car, your driving adventure begins before you arrive in Grand Marais. Whether arriving from Canada or the U.S., you'll be passing through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Midwest.

We're  also close to the municipal pool (including sauna, whirlpool, and kiddie pool). We also can provide a facility for Workshops & Retreats for your group.

Your hosts Jane and Jim Shinners purchased the Harbor Inn in 1997. They are outdoor enthusiasts who bike, ski, hike, canoe and enjoy the outdoors year round. They have extensive knowledge of local lakes, trails, rivers, and 'special' scenic spots that can make your visit a memorable one.
